You know those moments when it feels like you head could almost explode? I was having one of those nights tonight. My head couldn't fathom the simplest detail. It just didn't quite work.
This would've been fine if I was alone in my bedroom trying to do some work. But it doesn't quite work so well when you're in the middle of a Chemistry lab. Nothing quite made sense and I have to bless my good fortune in that my Chem lab demonstrator has a sense of humor. For the first time in a very long time I started laughing hysterically. I think it was the 'ugh'-ness rather than the actual things that happen. But it was just such a good moment. So I thought I'd share the hilarity with you to see if it 'was just me' of it was actually funny.
*Fatima wearing two different shoes. They peaked out from underneath her lab coat and I couldn't help but laugh. One was red and one was white. It got even better when it was explained that in Chinese culture it's good luck to accidentally wear odd shoes. That made me laugh. The mere prospect of someone flopping around in a jandal and high heels made me burst into laughter. I then began to loudly impersonate a person wearing odd shoes...
*Looking at the Coke bottle label to find out the amount of CO2 in the gas space. Even this made my demonstrator laugh. We were all in fits of giggles at this point.

*The fact that my nail polish has lasted/the fact that I actively defended Palmerston North today. Only I may bash Palmy... that's cause there really aren't enough people to stick up for it.
