A little while ago (I'm not going to be specific since that would be telling) I had the immensely unpleasant experience of being the third wheel. They were discussing the movies that they'd seen together, laughing about the merry time they'd had on the weekend, trying on each others clothing (I personally think it's a bit weird to do... a little like sharing spit) and being completely and utterly
buddyish. Meanwhile I was there. Every so often I'd try and chime into the conversation with something witty (or something that I thought was witty) more often than not they'd just ignore me or give me a P Laugh. But it wasn't pity as in ha ha you were the only one who didn't get into Senior Chamber Choir. It was pity as in shame gosh you are like
so pathetic. It is unpleasant being the third wheel. The only slightly redeeming factor in it all is that I wasn't there hanging out with these friendship 2 wheelers by choice. I was there by obligation. Stupid extra curriculars. At least it's almost over thank god for exams. I never thought I'd say that. So the moral of the story is be inclusive don't be all exclusive (just because I wear a side ponytail which by the way are totally coming back).
Today I voted for the person whom I would like to be Head Girl. I had to pick one special girl out of the shortlist who would step into Maria English's Galaxy sized shoes (that's not saying she has large feet just that she's done lots and lots and lots and is generally amazing). I chose the person who I thought was genuine. Her speech probably seemed more like that because the person who went before her was the opposite of genuine. Anyway the interesting thing is not who I voted for or what colour pen I decided to use to cast my vote (black 'it reminds me of the pain in the world'... CQ (Chuck Quote)) its that lead up. All through lunch time we were debating and persuading each other as to who they should vote for. We systematically went through each candidate and weeded out the bad ones until we were left with a group of 5 to choose out of. My favorite quote was Steph 'Too bad I couldn't do this for my media studies Documentary'. I agree Steph it is too bad.

Ouch! Sounds vivid. Just thought I'd add 2 cents, sharing saliva is great. Scary bit kinda trustworthy. Bonding over food is possibly one of the best things ever. So neglecting hygene for extra friendship stuff is facinating. Although the ministry of health would disagree... And they have yet to ban kissing which is really unhygienic tho very worthwhile!
