Surprises

Have you ever noticed that surprises always tend to be good? (Correct me if you think I'm wrong). People don't tend to call bad things surprises they're disasters (we are such drama queens/kings). I mean the most common has got to be 'me/my significant other is pregnant the baby is such a surprise'. In other words the baby was an accident, but since it's positive it's a surprise.

Surprises are happy bubbly magnificent things. In fact I would say that a surprise is like a tumor which is slowly growing and and then you get a shock when you discover it only to find out it's full of lollies or chocolate. (Yeah that's my attempt at practising for this creative writing internal....Let's just say I'll never be an author although I do write this blog). And the surprise doesn't have to be something big either. It can just be something small like not having a piano lesson that week or having a reliever. These little surprised just make your day that little bit sunnier.

Today I had a nice little surprise waiting for me when I arrived at home. There was an envelope from TVNZ addressed to me. I was ever so excited. (No it was not full of Mils and Boons books (I think they may have given me a bit of a rep)). I grabbed a knife since at the moment I happen to have mislaid my scissors which really bums me out because I do like my new world orange handled scissors (they even have my name on them and they don't discriminate against lefties). Then I cut open the package. I won a Grey's anatomy hot pack and a Grey's anatomy cold pack. I love it how they just whack a pic of the cast on the box and automatically they can call it Grey's Anatomy (Copyright (I can't find the symbol!)). So now I can "cool down after a heated session with McDreamy and McSteamy with my very own cold pack! Warm up those cool Sunday nights on the couch with a branded hot pack."

Well I'm sure I'll use the hot pack but the cold pack...not so such especially seeing as according to google the source of all things wonderful today had a high of ten degrees. My house isn't much hotter than that thanks to nada on the central heating front. But in fact the average house temperature in NZ is well below the world recommendation. Pwah I say at least it means we're not sissys. We may have hypothermia and people from other countries thinking that shivering is part of the New Zealand accents but we ain't sissys.

Now on yesterdays blog I said "Have you ever always thought as something as absolutely terrifying and something you want to run away from? Then one day you do it and it's like meh' If you didn't happen to read yesterdays post in which case shame on you.....shame on you....and please become a follower :D. Well I was talking about on Monday when I spoke like 2 sentences in assembly. I got down there, looked up and thought 'Oh my Gawsh there are like no people out there why the heck was a so scared'. It's that moment of realisation which just feels great it kills all your doubts and frees you (very dalai lama of me). It's just so.....nice

Pour Terminer aujourd'hui....well today I was talking to Megan an avid blog and chuck follower who said 'ey you said you'd add more of ze chuck quotes' (Because Megan is French).

So heres a scene in quote form which is ever so funny although if you don't watch Chuck (which you should start watching since it is legendary) then you'll be like wtf anyway it's as a surprise (sticking to the theme here) to give your day a solar flare

Chuck: What exactly are you doing?
Colt: I'm stretching. Getting limber.
Chuck: Why are you doing that?
Colt: So I won't pull a muscle when i break your neck. Maybe you should get limber too.
