Well it's that time of year again. Hermit time... aka exam study time. I think I've developed a sort of weird sense of sentimentality with this time of year. It gives me a few weeks of complete solitude. It's nice to change my facebook password to 'asiohfpw984t5i2nwed' so I can't check my notifications every five seconds and lock myself in my grannys house for a week. My parents don't try to bother me they know I'm in 'study mode' so basically it just ends up being me and my iPod for an extended period of time. It's amazing the things that you can discover when you're alone. Although I probably shouldn't be saying that I'm alone since that will inevitably mean that some psycho murderer will read this blog, find me and kill me. Yes, I may have been watching a little bit too much castle... I think it counts as study.... kind of.
The point of this post is to just say how nice it is to have this wonderful sense of solitude and inner calm. No distractions just me and my books.

*The sunrise... Winter is a weird time of year. I don't have to wake up ridiculously early to see the sunrise in fact today I woke up at a perfectly normal time to discover that it was pitch black outside. It gave me a wonderful excuse to sleep in for a little bit longer.
